    例句：Please discuss, debate and argue, if you like.

    请讨论、辩论和争论，如果你喜欢的话。

    2. call sb. Up v.打电话给……

    例句：Whether you will go (or not), please call me up.

    不论你去不去，请打电话给我。

    3. surprise

v.使惊奇；使意外。

    例句：This took me somewhat by surprise.

    这多少让我有些惊讶。

    4.pay for 付款

    例句：After that you have to pay for another night.

    六点之后您得付另一个晚上的费用。

    5. tutor

n.家庭教师

    例句：I got a part-time job as a tutor.

    我得到一份做家教的工作。

    6. in style 时髦的；流行的

    例句：Her clothes are always in style.

    她的衣服总是很时髦。

    7. get on 相处；进展

    例句：I get on very well with her.

    我与她相处得极好。

    8. original

adj.新颖的

    例句：We all think it is an original idea.

    我们都认为它是个新颖的想法。

    9. as…as possible 尽可能……

    例句：I must contact him as soon as possible.

    但我必须马上同他联系。

    10. complain

v.抱怨；控诉

    例句：They complain that regulation hampers their expansion.

    他们抱怨称一些规定阻碍他们发展。

    11. include

v.包括；包含

    例句：In any case work does not include time, but power does.

    在任何情况下功不包括时间，但功率包括时间。

    12. all kind of 各种；许多

    例句：There is all kind of furnishing in the shop.

    这家商店有各种各样的服饰品。

    13. organized

adj.有组织的

    例句：It is not an organized society of monks.

    这不是一个有组织的僧侣团体。

    14. on the other hand （在）另一方面

    例句: On the other hand, culture is concrete and specific.

    另一方面，文化又是具体的和明确的。

    15. freedom

n.自由

    例句：Self-study stress that the freedom of independent innovation.
